John 3:16 For God so loved the
world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him
shall not perish but have eternal life.
Philippians 2:6-8 Who, being in
very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be
used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking
the very nature of a servant, being made inhuman likeness. And being
found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient
to death—even death on a cross!
1 Corinthians 15:3-5 For what I
received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died
for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried,
that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, and
that he appeared to Cephas, and then to the Twelve.
1 John 1:9 If we confess our
